THE RELATION WITH THE LEGISLATIVE POWER
 

The prosecutor has no legislative competence and does not suffer interference from the legislative power. According to art. 73 of the Constitution of Romania the Public Ministry is not part of the institutions that have legislative initiative. The Prosecutor General of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice makes proposals usually to the Minister of Justice to improve the law of the authorities that can have legislative initiative.
