Providing adequate structured cabling for the premises of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice
with a view to ensuring the productivity of IT systems
| ABOUT THE PROJECT | |
| This project is part of Milestone 165 of the NRP [National Reform Programme] - Digitisation of central public authorities in the judicial sector. Through its implementation, the project will directly contribute to the fulfilment of Target 2 of the NRP target list - Increasing the resilience of the judicial system by modernizing the IT infrastructure at central and local level (courts, prosecutors' offices, offices and other local structures), including by providing technical infrastructure for remote work, digitizing documents (including archives), improving communications, ensuring accessibility of services for people with disabilities, etc. In the same context, through its results, the project will ensure a significant degree of interoperability with IT equipment already installed in the PÎCCJ premises, meeting the demands of connecting a large number of stations, printers and scanners, for whose productivity high bandwidths are required. |

| OBJECTIVES: | |
| Modernization of the IT infrastructure of the PÎCCJ through the operationalization of a new LAN network (data-voice) within the Prosecutor's Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice – in compliance with the Cat.6A standard. | |
| ACTIVITIES: Activity 1.1: Procurement of design services, works and equipment necessary for the implementation and operation of the LAN network (data-voice) Activity 1.2: Implementation of the works and equipment supply contract Activity 1.3: Training of IT specialist staff within the PÎCCJ to manage the data-voice network. |

| RESULTS The implementation of a structured, homogeneous and secure LAN network, in compliance with the standards in force, configured according to the FTP Cat.6A category, with 3,200 active ports capable of data transfer rates of 10Gbs between the user stations and the communication switches of the 8 levels of the PÎCCJ headquarters, as well as the training of IT specialist staff within the PÎCCJ to manage the new data-voice network. |

| TARGET GROUP - The categories of staff within the Public Ministry who will benefit from the equipment provided through this project (prosecutors, clerks, specialists, civil servants, contract staff, related staff), as well as, indirectly, litigants. | |

| The total value of the project covered by this financing contract is RON 8,449,000, of which the amount of non-reimbursable external funding is RON 7,100,000. | |
